Dark green cloth rubbed, small surface chip to spine cloth near bumped heel, spine's gilt stamped lettering remains bright. Top edge gilt; fore-edge and bottom edge toned with light moisture staining; past owner's personal bookplate on front pastedown; last text leaf and concluding unpaged publisher's advertising leaf have moisture staining at top fore-edge margins.
