About Village Books and Music
Village Books was a "brick & mortar" store located in Southern Oregon until June 2023 when we retired and began selling only on-line. We carefully inspect and describe all items that we sell. If you have any questions or need additional photos, please contact us. Returning items is costly to both the seller and buyer. We try and avoid that as much as possible. Insurance can be requested for an additional fee, for buyers in the USA. International buyers are responsible for the item once we mail it. Requests for refunds for International shipments will not be accepted. We no longer ship to France or Germany due to EPR regulations.

Payment is required in full before we process an order and ship a book. Payments are accepted by ABEBooks or directly to us with money order, checks (checks must clear before item is mailed). Orders shipped to addresses in USA may request insurance; insurance not available for International Shipments (seller not responsible for lost/damaged items sent to International address). PLEASE NOTE: Books listed are subject to prior sale. Village Books is a "MOM & POP" business. We carefully check all items and describe them to the best of our ability.
Shipping terms
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
