Item description from seller

FAE. PO name on ffep (detached) dated 1808. Boards are made out of wood (exposed) with remains of leather surface on spine. Loss to spine at bottom 2" and 1/2" loss to top. Remaining spine leather is cracked vertically up the center. Front cover detached, cracked in half horizontally with some loss to top and bottom edges. Gathering containing half title and title page , through page 12 is detached. Rest of the book is intact. On verso of title page and top of next page there is PO writing detailing the purchase of the book (1839) and requesting its return iflost. Pages are toned and a little wavy. End papers deeply toned.
