Synopsis: In 1997, Luisa Cannoli's life changed in an instant. She was injured in a devastating automobile accident which resulted in a seven-year ordeal during which the insurance carrier denied payment and waged a massive legal battle resulting in incredible debts for Cannoli. Cannoli also discovered her home had been invaded, her house and phone lines tapped, and her business clients harassed-all actions she believes were arranged by insurance carriers and defense attorneys, with the assistance of the doctors who treated her.
About the Author: It can be reveled that Luisa Cannoli is a 50-year-old artist, business woman and philanthropist living with her family in the mid-west. Although her initial legal action against the insurance company involved has been successfully settled, she is taking an active part in a proposed government investigation of the events surrounding her accident and the corporation persecution, which followed. Before the accident, Luisa was a prominent and enterprising interiors designer, with a strong artistic influence. With the events that resulted from the accident, and the fund raising efforts from the book Violation, she hopes to establish a teaching curriculum of teaching art fundamentals to both children and adults - also to raise funds for churches, schools, and individuals who have been severely affected by the tactics of insurance carriers, doctors, and defense attorneys.
