Teak blue cloth boards have gilt lettering and blind-stamped double-ruled borders on the front cover and spine. Front cover has a little bit of mild foxing, otherwise they are clean. Extremities are a little rubbed. Spine is a trifle cocked and faded, a little bumped and rubbed at head and foot. Half title page is severely affected by offset/foxing, from material previously laid in, otherwise text is very clean, embellished with illustrated plates. The leaves of text have a parchment-type sheen about them. This Dickens' work is written in the made-up language of Esperanto, a combination of many Latin-based dialects. Translated by Montagu C. Butler. Binding is sound and tight. Nice copy, digital image available. Bookseller Inventory # 003110
