Sei volumi in-folio (cm. 39), pp. 4000 ca. complessive. Bell'antiporta al primo volume, ciascun frontespizio con grande incisione centrale (frullone della Crusca) incisioni nel testo in luogo di testate, finali ed innumerevoli, elegantissimi capolettera figurati. Legatura omogenea in mezza pelle con punte novecentesca, dorsi lisci con filetti e titoli in oro su tasselli. Una piccola gora all'angolo basso presente in alcune sezioni di carte dei primi volumi (lontano dalla parte stampa stampata) e non grave. Esemplare peraltro molto marginoso, genuino e ben conservato. Magnifica edizione, cfr. Gamba 2812: "Quarta edizione, pi� copiosa, pi� riputata, e l'unica oggid� adottata per testo di lingua.".
