Italian manuscript in several hands, 242 pages, bound in patterned boards, 8 1/2 x 6". No imprint, but probably Italy, ca. 1800. Spine and edges rubbed, interior fresh. This appears to be the result of a collaboration of several people to translate three Latin poets into common Italian. The poets are: Gaius Catullus (84-54 B.C.), Albius Tibullus (54-19 B.C.) and Sextus Propertius (54-16 B.C.) Also includes a 90 page section on the Known Geography of Ancient Greece. Also included in the manuscript is a brief translation attributed to Jacapo Antonio Bassoni. Bookseller Inventory #
