About this Item

Very Good Plus Book. Very minor shelf and edgewear. Deckle edges. Titles, on paste-down labels, on spine and front along with pictorial paste-down label to front. The best way to describe the binding is : "First the wood is broken into fibers ; then treated and spun into thread-like units and ultimately woven into "wood" cloth." You can almost smell the lumber yard! This 124 page book is loaded with photos and illustrations. Clean, bright and tightly bound. List of company officials and affiliations to rear of book. "To future historical writers is left the privilege of recording data pertinent to the origin and development of the Lumber and Forest Products Industries of America. This printment seeks only to chronicle some notes of interesting milestones incident to this Company's modest origin and later development ; this, in service to those who buy lumber," (forethoughts).
