Vintage original 14 x 11" (35 x 28 cm.) lobby card, USA. Mae Marsh, Carol Dempster, Ivor Novello, Neil Hamilton, Lucille La Verne, Porter Strong, dir: D. W. Griffith; United Artists. D. W. Griffith film for which he also wrote the story is set and filmed on location in Florida and Louisiana. It is the story of a young Southern aristocrat (played by film and theatre matinee idol Ivor Novello) who graduates from seminary but decides to see what real life is all about before taking on a parish. While in New Orleans he gets a girl (Mae Marsh) pregnant. Neil Hamilton is at center of this image. Slight bit of soiling at the bottom left side. ABOUT FINE. Bookseller Inventory # 10758
