These come with the 5 COMPANION VOLUMES of documents & correspondence (2 for the first & 3 for the second). Volume II has a bookplate on front pastedown & the DW is price-clipped, else all are tight near FINE first printings in lightly rubbed & dusty very good dust wrappers. Together these cover Churchill's life from birth up to the start of World War I, including his experiences as a journalist & soldier from Sandhurst to India, through participation in various border wars & The Boer War, as well as his early years in politics.
