Scarce souvenir of the Wheeling, West Virginia radio phenomenon known as the Jamboree which hit the air waves in January, 1933, broadcast rom the Hawley Building in Wheeling. The show was so popular it grew to live audience performances and a regular Sunday night spot and, ultimately, a Saturday night show. In 1946 they were still going strong. Clean book showcases the current stars which then included Lew Clawson, The Chuckwagon Gang, Big Slim "The Lone Cowboy", The Rangerettes (Millie Wayne and Bonnie Baldwin); Pete Cassell (King of the Hillbillies); Toby Stroud's Blue Mountain Boys; Crazy Elmer (the show's clown); The Davis Twins (Sonny and Honey); Reed Dunn (the Singing Mountaineer); Hawkshaw Hawkins; Smilie Sutter (West Virginia's champion yodeler) and the Newcomer Twins (Maxine and Eileen).
