About this title

Synopsis:

Jen has settled into a peaceful life when a terrifying event awakens old fears of being homeless and alone, of a danger horrible enough to destroy her family and shatter her world forever. She is certain that Naryfel, a shadowy figure from her past, has returned and is concentrating the full force of her hate on Jen's family. But how will she strike? A knife in the dark? An attack from her legions? Or with the dark arts and twisted creatures she commands with sinister cunning? Wyndano's Cloak may be Jen's only hope. If she can only trust that she has what it takes to use it , , ,

From the Author:

Dear Readers,

When people ask me to describe Wyndano's Cloak in one word, I answer, "Empowerment."

When they ask me to describe it in five words, I say, "Magic too dangerous to use."

When they say, "Ooh! Tell me more," I reply, "A sinister shapeshifter threatens to shatter Jen's world and the kingdom of Aerdem. She has one chance to stop them--with a magical cloak too dangerous to use. If you love page-turners with secrets, riddles, mystery, treachery, and intrigue, then you'll enjoy Wyndano's Cloak."

Tell us more, they say! I answer: "Prepare for a bone-thrilling ride in a land of fantasy, enchantment, and adventure. Where betrayal vies with loyalty, friendship, and courage. And hope lies with the unlikeliest heroes and heroines."

Pull up a chair, throw another log on the fire, have a sip of tea, and curl up with a good book. The possibilities are endless, and fairy-tale magic lies ahead . . .

Best Wishes,

A. R. Silverberry

Of the approximately 50,000 volumes in stock, the majority are hardcover first editions, although we also stock vintage science fiction paperbacks as well as sf digests and pulps. We also have a large selection of books signed by the author and uncorrected proof copies. Less than 50% of our stock is catalogued, so please inquire if you are searching for specific titles. Selling books by mail order and on the internet since 1993. We have a large booth dedicated to books (called Books Upstairs) at the Antiques Upstairs Mall, 5 Main Street, Jackson, CA. (open every day from 10-5) The emphasis there is on Western Americana, children¿s books and inexpensive reading copies. In 1998 we relocated our main business from Sacramento to the Sierra foothills of Amador County, about 35 miles east of downtown Sacramento and between Ione & Sutter Creek. There, on 10 acres of rolling oak-covered hills, we built a ¿bookhouse¿ for our books. When we are there, we welcome visitors by appointment (call 209-274-6960 or, in the US only, toll free at 1-877-bookfev or contact us by email heyyou@bookfever.com) Our web page is http://www.bookfever.com/ Traditional bookseller grading used - fine is our highest grade (an "A"), very good is above average (a "B), good is average (a "C").
