This is the third book in successful series of occasional sketches by the grandfather of American alternative comix. These sketches reveal another side-- a contemplative side-- to the controversial artist, renowned for his taboo-breaking satires of American society. With his intricate cross-hatching and observant line, the drawings here show Crumb as an imaginative chronicler of everyday life.
About the Author: Robert Crumb is a legend in comix. Loved and hated internationally, he is one of the founders of alternative comix in the 1960s. Controversial, to put it mildly, he satirized every institution with smashed taboos. Crumb has become an icon of the American underground of the 1960s to comix fans and pop culture buffs. He lives in France, illustrating and designing books and records.
