This hardcover book is square and tight. The red boards and spine have only minor shelf wear with pristine gilt lettering. The points and extremities at the spine show a mere whisper of rubbing. The pages and chocolate endpages are clean, with no markings or folds. The toning to the pages is miniscule. Please note: there is a corresponding quarter size darkening throughout to the boards and pages at the upper corner. Although noticeable it is not particularly detracting (especially in light of the age of the book). Not ex-lib. No remainder mark. This copy contains the oration of the Hon. William D. Porter of 22nd February, 1873, associated correspondence, and with the Roll of the various members. There is a period owner signature on the upper corner of the title page: Charles D. Ashcroft, Esq. 86 pages. Bookseller Inventory # 005558
