octavo, Bound in red cloth covered boards in good condition, lightly to moderately worn and soiled covers, light stain on front, white spots on backstrip. Contents are good to very good with light scattered foxing that is heavier on a few pages, all maps and illustrations called for in the list at the front of the book are present along with one in the pamphlet at the back. There are no tears or holes at the folds on the folded items, but some do have some brown foxing. pp. xiv, 409 . Bookplate on front pastedown and ink note signed with same name noting who the book came from on the half- title page. There is a blind stamp on the free endpaper and on the half title page, for a military historical society. The rear free endpaper has a newspaper clipping about a model of the Waterloo Battle and there is a booklet pasted to the rear pastedown with a description of that model dated 1896. it has one folded map and pp. 16 and has its original paper wraps. The book is uncommon and the model description is as well. Note: due to size and weight, shipping outside the USA may be less than for an average book. Seller Inventory # 2944
