Limited edition, #41 of 500, SIGNED by the author. Hard cover bound in faux red leather with extensive gilt decoration and an illustration of a ship in blind. All page edges gilt. Housed in a red cardboard slipcase. 134 pages. With black and white photos throughout, as well as schematics of the ship on the final two pages. A detailed account of the sailing vessel The Wavetree, including her voyage around Cape Horn, accounts of other ocean voyages, a brief chronicle, an accounting of ships met during the narrative, the reconstruction of the ship, etc. VERY GOOD book. Scuffing present along the rear hinge, with loss of the outer layer of faux leather along a three inch section, along the raised part of the hinge. Small triangular chip missing from the head of the spine. General fading to the slipcase, with some scuffing, mostly along the extremities. Minor soiling. Bookseller Inventory # 004584
