1956 Castle 1ST Edition 1st printing in Excellent, surprisingly well-preserved condition. Near Fine Hardcover in Very Good Dustjacket. Not X-library, Book Club or Remainder copy. $10.00 price on DJ front flap, DJ is bright as new and fully intact. There is light shelf wear: the front flap is creased; a few tiny tears at spine ends, a small white rub on front (size of a pea);some light soiling of largely white back cover, a reflection of the book’s age.DJ is now in clear archival-quality jacket (easily removable). Book is immaculate and completely unmarked: no P.O. signatures, gift inscriptions, bookplates; remainder mark, ,publisher or bookseller marks; underlining, notes; soiled, missing, torn or dog-eared pages. Cloth coverboards are straight, immaculate and unfaded; spine, corners, titles and endpapers are all impeccable. Spine is straight with no leaning or cocking; spine is humped at top end.
