Oblong 8vo. Unpaginated (24pp). Stapled printed wraps, as issued. Rare exhibition catalogue of the "Erste Frühjahrsschau für angewandte Kunst" which was held in Berlin in 1927. Illustrated with 10 tipped-in b/w photographic reproductions of metal, ceramic, glas, wood, weaving, and ivory art works. "Erste Frühjahrsschau für angewandte Kunst in Berlin zeigt Musterarbeiten aus verschiedenen Materialgruppen, vorwiegend Einzelstücke.Angestrebt wird, den Begriff und das Unterscheiden von gut und schlecht in Material, Form, Farbe und Ausführung weiten Kreisen näher zu bringen, dadurch Produktion und Absatz wertvoller Dinge zu steigern, wertloses zurückzudrängen. Vertreten sind Einzelarbeiten aus Keramik, Glas, Metall, Holz, Weberei und verwandten Materialgruppen." Photographs show art work by Prof. L. Gies, O. Douglas Hill & A. Ehlers, Prof. E.
