Small 8vo, printed wrappers, staped. 47pp. 15 names appear on the front wrapper of the literary supporters for awarding the 1935 Noble Prize award. Ossietsky was in prison at the time in Nazi Germany for comments made exposing Germany's secret rearmament program and died there in 1938. He was voted the 1936 Peace Prize. Various writers are ascribed as the authors.Wrappers with slight foxing, a few small rustmarks on the first several pages, staples rusted causing stain in gutter, otherwise good.
