Synopsis: Many people and financial institutions have managed money and credit poorly, which is why America is in a deep recession. Writer Teneshia LaFaye freely admits she screwed up with money and her son, co-author Darian Demetri was there to witness it. Despite the recession, Teneshia has gotten a handle on money management and has transformed her credit from poor to excellent to build her first house on a large lot in Florida. Teneshia and Darian believe the reason people are poor money managers is because they receive minimal financial education in school. So the mother and son have written this book to start off teens and young adults on the right track with bank accounts, savings, credit and investing.

About the Author: Darian Demetri attends a top Florida high school and writes celebrity news and gossip for TheSuperficialTeen.com. He is a former model after being discovered in a modeling competition in Orlando. He hopes to become an entertainment columnist for a major teen magazine someday. He is the oldest son of co-author Teneshia LaFaye. Teneshia LaFaye is an expert on money and debt management after transforming her credit from poor to excellent while working on commission as a top health and life insurance agent with a specialty in Medicare. She earned a journalism degree from the University of Florida after being awarded government grants and scholarships, and then she forged an award-winning newspaper sports writing career. She offers her common sense advice on finance, sports, celebrities and many other topics on her blog site, mytensense.com.
