About this Item

Four Charming Color Plates and several line drawings in text by ARTHUR RACKHAM. Spine just slightly rumpled. Otherwise a very fine copy in an excellent jacket( reinforced in three places on verso, back panel a bit dusty, tiny chips at spine ends and corners, but quite attractive nevertheless ). Jacket is price clipped and the book has a very nice book-plate of John Riley Brant. This is the FIRST ILLUSTRATED EDITION, FIRST PRINTING. This is a delightful tale that only morley could write and only Rackham could illustrate. Whimsical and collectible. Protected in Mylar. Bookseller Inventory # 000384
