About this Item

The book is bound in blue cloth-covered boards with embossed gilt title and blind stamped illustrations on the front. Defects to note are the title is faded on the spine and there is a very small stain on the outer edge of the first few pages. The dust jacket has light edge wear with small chips missing at top of spine. The book is INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Book covers the history of public improvements in Kansas City from the earliest beginnings to the 1930s and then includes a ten-year plan for the future. For the historian this presents an opportunity to review and discover how accurate that plan was. 293 pages including the Index. Bookseller Inventory # 011834
