This G+ quality format #2 book (as per Mattson & Davis's bibliography--7-1/2" tall, more binding colors than yellow [red, gray, tan, brown, blue-green], and the entire front is covered with pictorial applique in colors) was published by New York Book in 1919. It has a slight lean, is rather clean, with no edge dings and slight bumps to all four corners with no fabric fraying; the head and heel of the spine are bumped, with some color loss and slight fraying at both spine ends. Bottom edges have very little wear. The spine is rather clean and not faded; both gutters are intact and not damaged. The front panel applique has very slight wear (see photo). Except for a small bookstore stamp at the top of the FFEP, the interior is free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. The frontis is intact. The paper is heavily toned and quite stiff; only the FFEP is so brittle that parts of its edge have broken off. The paper covering both hinges is torn and even though both are holding nicely, they are a bit fragile. The book has no series list in it. Seller Inventory # BMR-2020-5-13-11
