About this title

Synopsis:

Imagine an established television actress who did an exercise to create the back-story of the terrorist, Ayman Al-Zawahiri. She-just for fun-observed Zawahiri's documented actions and penetrated his mind in order to discover what his true intentions were, what he would do, and what really happened to Usama Bin Laden. And imagine that, as the events of 2003 and 2004 unfolded, all of the actress's predictions and evaluations proved true. Imagine also that she is a writer. This is, in fact, the genesis of "White King and the Doctor"-a shocking and provocative suspense novel by actress, Lee Kessler.

About the Author:

Lee Kessler is a television actress, screenwriter, playwright, and stage director. Her career in Hollywood and New York spans thirty-five years, and includes dozens of guest starring roles in episodic TV, mini-series and movies-of-the-week. She had reoccurring roles in the series "Hill Street Blues" and "Matlock," and was submitted for Emmy nomination twice for her starring roles in the movie "Collision Course," and the ABC special, "Which Mother Is Mine?" She co-starred with Peter O'Toole in the film "Creator." Lee became the first actress in the world authorized to portray the legendary diarist Anais Nin when her play, "Anais Nin-the Paris Years," was produced in New York and Los Angeles, with a subsequent tour on the West Coast. She also directed the West Coast premiere of A.R. Gurney's "Who Killed Richard Cory?" Since the publication of her suspense novel entitled White King and the Doctor, Lee has made numerous radio and TV appearances discussing the book's relevance to the outcome of the War on Terror, and has spoken often at book signings and private readings in New York and Los Angeles. In addition, during the development of her entertainment industry career, Lee became a successful entrepreneur, a pioneer in Internet commerce, and today owns an international Internet business which operates throughout the United States. She currently resides in Montana.
