About this title

Synopsis:

For a romance writer, murder is the ultimate kiss-off... In Who Wrote The Book of Death? someone wants to finish off the writer instead of the book. When PI Zach Barnes agrees to protect a woman from death threats, he assumes that her name isn't really Taliesyn Holroyd. Unfortunately, he also assumes she really is writing a novel. She assumes that he's stopped drinking after his own wife's murder. What else they don't know could bury them both along with the book.

About the Author:

Steve Liskow serves as a mentor for the Mystery Writers of America and writes the Grammar Guy column for First Draft, the online publication of the Guppies section of Sisters In Crime. "Stranglehold" appeared in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine after winning the 2009 Black Orchid Novella Award, and he has twice won Honorable Mention for the Al Blanchard Story Award from MWA. Several of his stories appear in collections of New England Crime Writing. He also conducts fiction writing workshops and contributed to Now Write! Mysteries (Tarcher/Penguin 2011). He lives in central Connecticut, the setting for many of his novels, with his wife Barbara and two rescued cats.
