About this title

Book by Vaswani, J.P.

About the Author:

"Dada Jashan P. Vaswani is the spiritual head of Sadhu Vaswani Mission in Pune, India. Dada Jashan is endowed with the gift of oratory and eloquence. He was invited to speak at U. N. O. on Universal Peace and at House of Commons, London, on World Without Wars. He spoke at the World Hindu Conferences in Sri Lanka and USA. He was the Keynote Speaker at the Centennial Celebrations of the World Parliament of Religions in New York. His fiery, thought-provoking speeches aroused interest in Indian religion and culture.

Dada J. P. Vaswani was born on August 2, 1918, at Hyderabad-Sind, in a pious Sindhi family. He was a brilliant student, and so was given a number of double promotions which enabled him to pass the B.S. examination at young age of 17 years.

Scientist and philosopher, humanitarian and teacher eminent practicalist and modern day Saint, Dada J. P. Vaswani is, indeed, a man in a million or a ""smile - millionaire"" as admirers refer to him.

Thousands of devotees all over the world refer to him as their guru; but he regards himself as a seeker, a student; ""The day I have not learnt something new, is indeed a wasted day!"" he observes.

Utter simplicity, genuine humility, profound wisdom, deep insight into men and matters, wide scholarship, a brilliant analytical mind and tremendous positive faith - all this goes into the magnetic personality that is Dada J. P. Vaswani. Over and above all this there is his spiritual power, the mantle that he has inherited from his uncle and mentor, Sadhu T. L. Vaswani - a spiritual and intellectual giant of modern India.

Dada J. P. Vaswani's life reflects the richness and multifaceted nature of his personality. After a brilliant academic career, he won a prestigious Fellowship to complete his M. Sc. degree from the D. J. Sind College, Karachi. He had the distinction of having his thesis examined by Sir C. V. Raman. His academic excellence stood him in good stead, as he carved out a distinguished career much later, as Principal of St. Mira's College for Girls - this, no ordinary academic institution, but a temple of learning founded upon the lofty ideals of sympathy, service, purity and prayer. An education that sought to integrate intellect, emotion and spirit.

Dada has been the editor of several periodicals notable among them being The Excelsior, The India Digest and The East and West Series. Today, he is a highly respected and gifted writer of over 100 books some of them have been translated into several world languages, and run into multiple editions.

He is a brilliant and powerful orator, who has addressed several distinguished international audiences from prestigious platforms such as the World Parliament of Religions, Global Forum for Spiritual Leaders and Parliamentarians, World Hindu Conferences, and Conferences on World Religions. Wherever he speaks - be it at the U. N. or the House of Commons, London, at Chicago, Oxford or Kyoto, Dada J. P. Vaswani has the amazing capacity to captivate and mesmerize his listeners with his fluent language, his logical reasoning, his profound ideas, his practical wisdom - and his gorgeous sense of humor!

In April, 1998, Dada was given the prestigious U-Thant Peace Award for his dedicated service to the cause of world peace. This is an indication of the recognition that the world is giving to him and his message - the message of his master which synthesizes past and present, science and spirituality. Dada's mission of spreading his Master s message, has taken him to the four corners of the globe - and wherever he goes, people have responded spontaneously and overwhelmingly to his message of Love and Peace.
