Highly detailed early 20th century lithographed coastal survey of this New England location. Small, half-sheet size of typical Eldridge charts. Large oversize format on heavy paper stock, small dashes of original hand color for buoys. The reference key includes locating life saving stations, sailing lines and best anchorages. Shoals and sounding depths impart a unique visual quality. Map remains worthy of display, signs of age and handling which are often seen on these nautical charts since many seem to have been used on or around water. Sheet Measures c. 9 1/8" H x 15 1/2" W.
