Near Fine copy of The Wife of Pilot by Gertrud Von Le Fort in Near Fine Dust Jacket. 63 pp. Beige boards with brown lettering and brown drawing of a woman's head on front board. Trace of foxing on ffep. No writing or marks. Good binding. Like new. DJ has mild crumpling to top and tail of spine and top two corners. Chip missing from spine tail and very light tanning to back cover. Otherwise as new. Not price clipped. Simon Wiesenthal stresses Von le Fort's anti-Nazi stance and describes her as "one of the world's major catholic writers and poets of the twentieth century."
