Mikiya Mochizuki began his career as an assistant of famous manga artist: Tatsuya Yoshida and he made his debut in 1960 as a manga artist. His signature titles include Secret Agent Ja, Knights of Kennedy, Saizensen(means Leading Edge), and including numerous short stories. His most famous series, Wild 7 was carried in a comic series since 1969 and it was continued for 10 years with a total of 48 volumes (200 pages each). Due to it's popularity, Wild 7 became an animated series and a TV series.
