Add to basketFine/none. Ephamera-This item is an oblong photograph albumn, 4.25" X 10 inches, gray paper wraps with cord threaded through punched holes to hold it all together. The images are glued to the pages as they were when I purchased the item. The album contains 44 silver prints all identical size of 3.25" X 3". Images are all of Native Americans, some identified in unknown hand. 2 images per page, mounted verso & recto, the first 9 pages state "Brule Sioux" and the people identified are: Good Voice Eagle, Mrs. Ernest Gone With & child, Prairie Dog, Crow Good Voice, Jake Fighting Bear, Henry Hollow Horn Bear, Sam Lone Bear (Ogalalla Sioux), Black Hawk & Wife, John & Henry Hollow Horn Bear, Iron Shell * wife, Sara Four Horns & Mrs. Scout. The next four images are not identified. From the large tent in the background of several of these images I am lead to believe these people worked for one of the Wild West shows but I do not know if it was Pawnee Bill's, Cody's of whose. Most of these people have some regalia on. In one of the images, not identified, 2 men are posing in front of a sagecoach while another sits inside the coach. After the Brule section comes 2 images identified as Salish, then 2 identified as Flathead Reservation; the remaining images are not identified but could possibly still be Flathead. Lots of regalia in these images i.e. stand-up bonnets, beaded leggings, beaded shirts, full trailer bonnets. Some of these people are standing on the ground, some seated on horses. One images shows a bunch of Native men around a drum with Anglo men in the background. The last image shows an interior scene of 2 men in mid-west area regalia, maybe Oto, Potowatemi, Mesquackie style beadwork. One of the men has on what looks like Cheyenne moccasins. Images mostly clear and crisp, 1 image (a duplicate) of the drum group is flared due to camera setting I believe.
