The history of King William I and the most reallocation of land in England to ever take place in so short a period. Results of this were summarized in the Doomsday Book in 1086. The best known cases are the Welsh and Scottish border counties and the Sussex Rapes. 21 pages plus Author's Note and A Genealogical Table.and a fold-out map of Sussex and S. E. England circa 1086.
