Set out over 2 floors in an ancillary building of the historic White Lion coaching inn, we have a large general stock of old, new and antiquarian books, with around 25,000 titles in stock. We specialise in books relating to the local area, both old and new, as well as children's books and history. We also sell (and accept) National Book Tokens and stock a small range of book-related gifts. Online orders are usually processed and dispatched within 2 working days. Orders received after midday on Friday will be dispatched the following Tuesday. Some of our books are available with a small postage discount if you would like to collect them from our retail shop rather than have them delivered to you.
