It opened my eyes to the origin of the pain, dysfunction and devastation of a people who have been manipulated, bamboozled, deceived, denigrated, disparaged, maligned and premeditatedly victimized for centuries in America . . . for PROFIT. It was a poignant Aha moment for me. I finally understood the angst and cognitive dissonance Id felt for years, as a Black woman growing up in the cradle of Civil War America - Petersburg, VA. My spirit wouldnt let me rest until I had discovered Willie Lynchism Virginia is where much of U. S. His-Story began and where the most redoubtable of all U. S. wars ended. About the Author:

Karla "With a K" Edward's work as a teacher, at the beginning of the 21st century, inspired her to write this book about this lesson she never learned during her school years in the 20th century. She hopes to inform other "life long learners" of this missing history lesson that could reveal the source of social, emotional, psychological and even spiritual dysfunction experienced as an American, Black or White. Comments of 150 Signers of her online petition are included in this book. The introduction of the Internet and the Feb. 2000 demise of KACE radio in Los Angeles, CA, where Karla "With a K"'s six year stint as a Radio Personality in America's #2 media market ended, were catalysts for her new career as an Internet Marketer and Educator in L. A's public school system. For over a decade, she taught Computer Technology, Social Studies and English for the Los Angeles Unified School District. With a B. A. in Communications and Theatre minor, from Howard University, Karla works as an Actress, Voice Over Artist, and currently Tutors English/ESL for Axiom Educators, LLC, in Richmond, VA. Karla With a K is her "brand" name under SAG-AFTRA, an American labor union for professional performers.
