Good only, spine covering lacking for the most part, closed tears to two internal pages, hinge lightly shaken but still intact. Front cover has a few small chips near edges. Mild foxing to occasional pages, not affecting the drawings. ; INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR / ILLUSTRATOR on the front free endpaper. Greening was a popular cartoonist in the 1910s and 20s. This book includes many of the comic strips that featured the antics of Eb (Ebenezer) and Flo (Florence). It also includes three short stories, also illustrated by Greening and also featuring the Wishbone Man and Eb and Flo. The stories are "The Adventure of the Bold Knight Errant", "The Pop-Corn Man" and "The Moose that Wanted to Fly". The stories are followed by the reproductions of the comic strips. In each of the stories and strips Eb and Flo are encouraged to pull on the legs of Wishbone Man (aka Mr. Wishbone) in order to make a wish come true. Worldcat lists only six copies of this title.
