Synopsis: L. Frank Baum was an American author best known for writing the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and its sequels. Baum was a prolific writer as he is credited with over 50 novels, 200 poems, and close to 100 short stories. Baum remains one of the most widely read and influential writers in the fantasy fiction genre. The Patchwork Girl of Oz is the seventh novel in the Wizard of Oz series. The action centers around the adventures of a young Munchkin boy named Ojo. Tik-Tok of Oz is the eighth novel in the Wizard of Oz series. The book centers around the Shaggy Man's quest to save his brother which results in conflict with the Nome King. The Scarecrow of Oz is the ninth book in the Wizard of Oz series. The action centers around a sailor named Bill and his friend, a girl named Trot, who set out for a short ride on their boat. When the boat capsizes they are carried to a cave by mermaids. Rinkitink in Oz is the tenth novel in the Wizard of Oz series. Much of the action takes place on the islands of Pingaree, Regos, and Coregos. The Lost Princess of Oz is the eleventh novel in the Wizard of Oz series. The action starts off with Dorothy visiting with her friends in Emerald City and noticing that Ozma is not in her chambers. The Tin Woodman of Oz is the twelfth novel in the Wizard of Oz series. The book presents a back-story from the Wonderful Wizard of Oz as the Tin Woodman is reunited with his sweetheart Nimmie Amee.

About the Author: L. Frank Baum is best known throughout the world as the author of the much-loved Wizard of Oz. Written in 1900, the book was a number one best-seller for two years then quickly moved on to being an all-time classic. Nikki Wright is a NSW South Coast based artist.
