Mustard yellow bds. w/light blue, dark blue & black ill. & title to front & spine, 312 pp + 6 pp ads in rear, , frontispiece & 3 other illustrations are present, light soil to bds., prev. owner was an amazing artist (who if didin't become an artist in adulthood lost his calling). Ill. in pencil of soldiers & revolvers & rifles on front fep (both sides) & verso of front bd., verso of frontispiece, ill. to rep (both sides) one of an Indian chief & verso of rear board of a buffalo. Front inner hinge is cracked but not exposed, rear inner hinge is exposed at end of ads but book is not loose at boards at all. In fact, book is clean, tight & bright & quite nice.
