Hardcover in brick colored clothlettered and decorated in black. vi+308 pp. with index. Illustrated with full page photographic plates. Very scarce history of the New Jersey town of Woodside, now a part of Bellville and Newark. Author Hine gathered his material from old records as well as from the older inhabitants then living. The first section deals with the early history to 1866; the second section recalls C.G. Hine and his times and the emergence of Woodside as a residential arear; the third is anecdotes.
