About this title

Ed Freeman work is an enigma. Drawing heavily from classical and renaissance painters, Freeman offers a truly fantastic, sensual and at times baroque but always beautiful look at masculinity, the male physical and archetypal roles of men as laborers, religious leaders, heroes and lovers. Freeman is a celebrated photographer, teacher and artist in Los Angeles and worldwide. This title, Work originally published in 2000 found it’s market quick. The title went on to sell out and hence this highly anticipated reprint.

About the Author:

Ed Freeman himself is an absolute multi-talent. After working for 25 years as musician and producer he decided to focus his energies on photography. His motifs are for the most part nudes and landscapes that he often turns into dramatic scenes with the help of computer technology. In doing so he has described an incredibly expressive photographic language. His works have been published in countless magazines and anthologies. "Work" is his first solo publication, which is now available in a soft-cover edition.
