Spines with four wide raised bands, decoratively tooled in gilt and blind and lettered in gilt in compartments, decorative gilt board-edges and turn-ins, light blue coated endpapers, all edges gilt. A near fine set with just a little bit of wear to the top extremities of spines. A lovely set in a fine Regency binding.George Gordon Byron (later Noel), 6th Baron Byron, FRS (1788-1824), commonly known simply as Lord Byron, was an English poet and a leading figure in the Romantic movement.
