Taft cites America's recent war with Spain and the adherence of the United States to the Monroe Doctrine. Taft also cites the U.S. involvement in Mexico, as well as discrimination against the Japanese, as well as discussing U.S. obligations to help allied countries in World War I, a national defense and submarine warfare, among other topics, eventually arguing for an International Peace League that could arbitrate disputes between nations. In GOOD+ condition. Covers faded with minor soiling and some creasing, a bit heavier to the rear wrap. Short note in ink to the lower front cover.
