Green hardcover with illustration of man sitting in a chair on cover. Very good condition, wear to spine edges, slightly bumped corners , light rubbing to covers. Inside pages all clean, lightly tanned. Published 1908, 1st edition. Illustrated. Terhune best known for his later works of his famous dog stories, wrote this book which is a collection of articles he wrote while working for the New York World, a job which he hated, he was used for everything from a gopher to an editor when all he wanted to be was a writer. Very rare book, only a small amount were published. Photos upon request.; 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Bookseller Inventory # 004047

We are open by chance or appointment during the week,(call 860-689-8081 for hours) 11am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Closed Mondays.
