A nice lot of 36 issues (one a double issue) of Marvin Malone's Wormwood Review, a little literary magazine which ran for 146 issues over more than 30 years. Next to his association with Black Sparrow Press, Bukowski's relationship with Wormwood Review is perhaps his most important. Bukowski's poems appeared in virtually every issue of the magazine, and makes an appearance in every issue in this lot. The issues were limited to 600-800 copies; the early issues are numbered. None of these are the signed patron's copies. Present are: 18 38 42 45 46 47 49 50 51 53 (Bukowski special feature, 55 Beds in the Same Direction) 55 57 64 65-66 (double issue) 68 77 80 87 92 94 96 99 101 102 109 112 113 116 121 124 127 128 129 135 137 140. All issues near fine to fine. Covers of issue 53 a bit grubby. A nice run. Bookseller Inventory #
