About this Item

325 pp., appendix, epilogue. endnote, numerous photographs. Unread. Fine in a fine dust jacket. Glenn Boyer is synonymous with the history of the Tombstone saga, Wyatt Earp, and his brothers. that cannot be denied! On November 4, 2000 a confrontation occurred at Schieffelin Hall in Tombstone, Arizona between two factions at odds with each other about a multitude of differences regarding the Earps and Tombstone history. This bookseller was in Schieffelin Hall that day and had six volumes of this book SIGNED AND DATED by the author and forward writer Ben T. Traywick. The books, including this one, were bought in Tombstone that day still sealed in the original shipping box from Talei Publishers. The shipping boxes were carefully opened so the book could be signed and dated that day and were put back in the boxes and sealed with clear tape. The shipping box was also inscribed,"Signed in Tombstone, November4, 2000" and signed by the author. This book also comes with a scarce, pristine February/March, 2001 edtion of True West magazine containing the SIGNED article Shout-Out At Schieffelin Hall by Executive Editor and CEO of True West Bob Boze Bell, who was also there in Schieffelin Hall on November 4, 2000. Bell has stated (5-13-2016) that this issue of True West magazine is the best selling issue ever and worth $300.00! The last item included is a ticket to the 1998, ill fated, debate sponsored by WOLA (Western Outlaw Lawman Association) in Phoenix, Arizona which was to be between Glenn Boyer and Casey Tefertiller. The debate took place but without Glenn Boyer who was ill at the time but was replaced by his step son. These three items combine to make a unique collectors item, all are guaranteed authentic!. We are the proverbial "Mom and Pop" bookseller and we like it that way. Having been in the service business most of our lives, we know what "real" customer service is. We want your experience with us to be an excellent one. Please browse our books. We specialize in rare, scarce, and out of print books related to Arizona history and outlaw and lawmen with an eye, always, to Texas and New Mexico for the same. We also focus on early Tombstone mining camp history as well as all of Southeast Arizona, including the lawmen and outlaws, cattlemen, mining men, and in fact all of the colorful characters who came to Southeast Arizona seeking their fortune. Please browse our books and feel free to email or call us if you can't find what your looking for. We'll be glad to try and find it for you. We know lots of booksellers in and out of Arizona.
