Original printed wrappers. An earlier version of this story was published in 1895 in "The High School Aegis" as "A Night's Swim in Yeddo Bay." Eventually published in book form in the 1922 collection Dutch Courage and Other Stories. (Walker & Sisson #66; Woodbridge #688).
