A few lightly bumped corners. The second volume inscription reads, "As Tom Jenkins said, 'There ain't no holt [?] that can't be broke.' We taught that lesson to Hitler. Too bad we have forgotten old Tom's instructions as Khrushchev tightens his hammerlock on the U.S." (The other inscription reads, "With the distinct understanding that you will pick up no bad habits from this book.") The front pastedown of the first volume has a list of corrections (which the author calls "boo-boos" and has signed).
