ALL issues for the year 1886 bound in black half leather, front and back board present but detached leather spine heavily scuffed but visible with Youth'Companion in gilt wear. Scratches to boards and beginning with november 11 issue, the page is cut midway perpenducular to spine about an inch until the December 16 issue when cut goes from 2 inches to the entire page; all pages are included but beginning page 519 the cut is almost to spine. If your looking for all issues of 1886 in read condition, this is the one for you.If you are looking for anythying better than read condition, this is not the one for you but it's a rarity still. Rare Reads formerly operated a storefront in The Lakewood Antiques Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia but reverted to a strictly online operation when the Gallery closed. In 2006, Rare Reads published "The Heeey Baby Days of Beach Music" which received a bronze medal from The Independent Publishers Association. Long sold out, copies of the 13 pound tribute to the musicians who created the unique R&B genre are occasionally available on ABE. The book was a collaborative effort of Rare Reads and many others including the musicians that created the sound Southerns term "Beach Music." Rare Reads is considering future publications in addition to expanding its online enterprise. Rare Reads is operated by Greg Haynes and son Reid Haynes and has warehouses in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia.
