Lev Abramovich Glezer (1905-1998) was one one the most famous booksellers in USSR. In 1924 he began to work as a bookseller in the market at the Kitaygorodskaya wall. For many years he worked in the Moscow second-hand bookstore Pushkinskaya Lavka. The book contains many stories about meetings with other bibliophiles, stories about rare books, about the collection of Gleser's autographs, as well as funny situations in the store, both with buyers and sellers.
