First and only edition. Slim 8vo in dark green cloth hardcovers stamped in gilt with zeppelin design containing the title. Inscribed by the author on the first blank: "With my compliments/ Harry Vissering/ Chicago 10/28/22". 59 pp. Illustrated with photographs, drawings, pen and ink rendering of famous airships as well as interior cutaways. A tight exmaple, gilt stamping bright; corner stain to the upper front endpapers, extending and diminishing on the first few leaves. One of the scarcest zeppelin-related book from the era of the great airships. The author dedicates the work to Count Zeppelin whose photographic portrait is featured as the frontispiece. Monograph bon the history and development of the zeppelin, a look at the time of its greasest activity (1918-19), the various plants at which the giant airships and components were constructed (Potsdam, Staaken, Duralumin Works, Maybach Motor Works; engines and performance 1892-1918; designs, passenger accomodations; commercial and passenger operations, etc. Bookseller Inventory # E16293
