About this title:

Synopsis:

When Dr. Herbert T. Francis lands on Zohu, he is surprised to find a planet run completely by elderly female humanoids: the Mothers of the Three Lands. Replete with his Earth superiority complex, Dr. Francis arrives as a conqueror but quickly finds himself a captive, chosen to undergo a Zohu woman?s adulthood ceremony as her consort.

As he waits to be released back to Earth, Dr. Francis studies the Zohu people, recording their language and codes of society and religion. But it?s not until the night before he leaves that he hears the story of the Great Contention, when men made war on women and burned the planet. This devastation led to their current crises: rising temperatures and falling birthrates.

a

Moved by his time with the gentle Zohu people, Dr. Francis confesses that his original mission was to discover how Earth could conquer Zohu. Now, he vows to help renew their planet instead.

When he returns to Earth however, the United Space government won?t allow him to renege on his assignment. And soon, a military strike force is en route to Zohu?

Can a planet that values peace and the flow of nature survive an encounter with the power-mad rulers of Earth?
