Book Description The World Publishing Company, Cleveland and New York, 1960. Black Cloth w Gilt Titling. Book Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Photos (illustrator). First Edition Stated. Yes, this 308 page First Edition Stated, being an increasingly well respected and energetically applauded offering it is proudly presented with great and well deserved hubris by Hirschfeld Galleries in BOTH the publishers original binding and original dustwrapper. The binding isi black cloth covered boards with gilt text and red decorations on the spine and on the front board. The book is rock solid tight and clean, and would be AAA if it wasn't for the previous owner's name having been covered up with magic marker, and the fact that there are a number of bleach spots on publisher's red top-stained text block. The jacket is all in one piece but has a long tear along front fold and other edgewear, but it is UNCLIPPED and Gabor's portrait on the cover is seductive as ever. Text illustrated with a section of black and white photographs.Hirschfeld Galleries' offerings such as this one which take on a life of their own and speak so very loudly for themselves. Read to learn and enjoy; go forth to share and enjoin. Research, analysis, dissertation, lucubrations or just enjoyment, this is the one. ACTUAL BOOK FOR SALE PICTURED.
